So I tried reinstalling realtek drivers manually since realtek was missing from my playback devices so I couldn't even update drivers from there but after reinstalling Realtek multiple times, the only files that I notice being added to my files is a file called Realtek in "Local Disk(C:) > Program Files(x86) > Realtek" but the only folder inside it is called "Audio" which contains 2 more folders named "Drivers" and "InstallShield." The files in "Driver" are "RtlUpd64" and "USetup.iss" and in "InstallShield" there is "Rtkupd64." None of the upd files do anything though when I click on them.Īlthough despite that issue, when I check programs in control panel, I can see that I have Realtek installed but it seems my pc can't detect it? I also checked if there was a windows update that could have affected my driver but the last update was more than 2 weeks ago and my audio was still fine during that time. I ran microsoft's troubleshooter and it managed to enable my monitor's audio but my Realtek High Definition Audio is now missing which is what I use to plug my headphones in and microphone. Last night, everything was fine and working but this morning when I turned on my computer, I had no audio devices.
